The preliminary schedule
of 2005-BAO is as follows:
May 2 (Monday) arrival in morning,
registration; opening ceremony at Beijing
Planetarium, then go to Hancunhe, informal
receiption in Hancunhe
May 3 (Tuesday) Theoretical round;
lectures; social event
May 4 (Wednesday) practical round;
physical exercise; observational round
May 5 (Thursday) rest, lectures, excursions
May 6 (Friday) closing ceremony in morning, departure of some teams in afternoon
Official languages of the Olympiad are Chinese, English and Russian. Problems has been prepared by the Organizing Committee in these three languages and the leaders were responsible to translate tasks to native languages of participants just before the rounds (three hours before).
Registration fees for 2005-BAO is Euro
150 for each participant, which covers the whole expenses (food, living, and local travels) for period from morning May 2 till morning May
6, and Euro 30 for each additional day.
The deadline for 2005-BAO application is March 31, 2005. Applicants should write down the following things on the application table: name, sex, birthday, nationality,
identity (student, teacher, etc.), passport number; and inform us your required documents to help you to get the visa, for example invitation by
express mail or fax. There will take about
1 week (from receiving those information
to sending out the invitation) for us to
issue the official invitation which should
be used for visa application.
